PostHeaderIcon Pearl Jam: ‘BACKSPACER’, Row Optimistic Tone

American music scene has not finished! That’s one good news brought by Pearl Jam in the latest release, BACKSPACER. Since the British Invasion era took place in mid-1964 until 1980, practically the American music market into the wetlands for British musicians. Now when the cycle began again, people are like compact Seattle shouted through the throat Eddie Vedder, there’s always hope!

Freely through the vanity to create and use Monkeywrench label representative of the Universal Music Group for worldwide release, Eddie Vedder, Matt Cameron, Mike McCready and Stone Gossard apparently rediscovered the energy in the late 90′s and recorded with a history of grunge.

Although only lasted 36 minutes 31 seconds, which release BACKSPACER since 20 September and is full of energy, expectations, and very American. This is directly read from the opening singles as The Fixer is performed without a load, fast riffs and yells Vedder makes fathers aged 40 of age seemed to come back late Kurt Cobain.

If you still can not believe how relaxed they are in work, consider the tracks were fixed as VU meters Gonna See My Friend, guitar-based tracks Got Some, and Johnny Guitar. Everything is fast, simple, no-nonsense but still dibahasakan through deep phrases.

Romantic themes but do not hack it has become common goods for Pearl Jam. But this time far from feeling restless, anxious to question the madness of the world as they once dengungkan in 2002 RIOT ACT in the past.

Consider Just Breath, more meaningful to the momentum of wind of change. A straightforward and logical phrase, where the Americans are pouring drizzle described in a summer afternoon filled with air of optimism. Strains of acoustic and vocals Eddie so if the guarantee.

The next track, as if killing Unthought Known lyrics turmoil with complete confidence mixed with piano and vocal sound Vedder in rapid repetition of melodic, intense. “Dream the dreams of other men … You’ll be no rival ones,” cried the charismatic lead singer who was born with the name Edward Louis Severson III’s.

Next, Supersonic, fast track is accomplished with McCready guitar solo. Potential to be the sing-a-long track. Then there’s Speed Of Sound, compounded mid-tempo ballads with a game-nge mood swing but still neat.

Force of Nature, track number two from the end of this describes a common expression that sometimes stromy, moody or even lead to trouble, just like the title. Here you will instantly remember the musical approach that never applied in the album Binaural.

This ninth album ends with a simple track that was given the title The End. Gloomy and slow tempo may be just a ‘breath’ is the closing tracks. The rest, blowing the breath of his own Vedder is about the things that have been through and how we truly human they should be grateful things smarter.

Overall, optimism BACKSPACER is a concrete manifestation of the wish to be transmitted and delivered in a straightforward by Pearl Jam. Although only in a half hour past 6 minutes 31 seconds, but more than enough to prove that Pearl Jam is the last band that lasted from generation.
